Scheduling Deliveries:
When an order is ready to be shipped, you will be contacted by the shipping company. The shipping company will look to schedule a convenient date and time for delivery. Please ensure you respond to communications from the shipping company within 24 hours, or storage fees may be charged by the shipping company. In the event that the shipping company charges storage fees, we will pass those charges on to you. You will be notified by email of the additional fee, and the credit card on your account will be charged.
Attempted Deliveries and Storage Charges:
If you confirm a delivery but are not there to receive the merchandise, we will bill you for the delivery attempt. Often our shipping company will place the merchandise in a storage facility while they contact you to reschedule delivery. In the event that the shipping company charges Garage Department for a storage or redelivery fee, Garage Department will pass those charges on to you. You will be notified by email about the additional fee, and the credit card on file with Garage Department will be charged. Please make every effort to be available to receive your merchandise at the scheduled time.
Non-returnable Items:
If you requested the shipping company or Garage Department to cancel a processed but not delivered order that contains non-returnable item(s), we charge you for 70% of the price of the non-returnable item(s) as a restocking fee. Please ensure you respond to communications within 24 hours, or storage fees may be applied by the shipping company. In the event that the shipping company charges storage fees, we will pass those charges on to you. You will be notified by email of the additional fee, and the credit card on your account will be charged.
